Fourth Congregation

It is hereby announced for the information of all 2016 Graduands of the Catholic Institute of Business and Technology, Accra and the general public that the 4th Congregation of the Institute to award degree certificates to persons who successfully completed their programmes of study in 2015/2016 academic year will be held as follows:

Date: Friday, 3rd February, 2017

Time: 9:30 am

Venue: CIBT Hall, Adabraka

    Registration for the Congregation:

    Students who successfully completed their programmes in June, 2016 or earlier and wish to be presented at the congregation are requested to Pay the appropriate fee at any branch of UBA A/C No. 00106750901503 and present their pay-in slip to the Finance Office


    All graduands are required to pay a non-refundable fee of GH 300.00 to cover cost of congregation brochure, printing of certificate, hiring of academic gown, certificate folder, refreshments and administrative charges.


    Graduands are to note that those who fail to attend the ceremony will also be required to pay the same amount before their certificates are released to them.

    Closing Date for Registration:

    Monday, 31st January, 2017. No late registration will be entertained after this date.

    Collection and Return of the Academic Gown:

    Graduating students are to use their pay-in slip and proof of registration to collect the gown from the Finance Office starting from Monday, 31st January, 2017.

    Graduands are requested to return the academic gowns latest by Monday, 6th February 2017. Failure to do so will attract a penalty of GH¢50.00 per day.


    Rehearsal will be held for all graduating students in the CIBT Hall on 2nd February, 2017 at 3.00 pm.


    Graduands are expected to be seated in the CIBT Hall by 8.30 a.m. on Friday, 3rd February 2017.

    Attire: Decent attire (suit/jacket).


    There will be a Thanksgiving Mass for all graduands as follows:
